Centred on an unlikely relationship between a Brazilian immigrant navigating the precarity of the gig economy and a wealthy, autistic Australian man living in self-imposed isolation, the film explores loneliness, dignity, and the transactional nature of modern life with warmth and restraint.

Told through a grounded, humanist lens that is writer / director James Bacskay wheelhouse, To Your Door blends gentle humour with emotional honesty, championing neurodiverse and immigrant perspectives while asking what it truly means to show up for one another.
